The Sherman Museum is a nonprofit educational museum preserving, interpreting, and displaying cultural, historical, and educational material connected to Sherman, Grayson County, and the local Red River area. Founded in 1976, the museum operates from Sherman's historic 1914 Carnegie Library and maintains a collection of more than 50,000 artifacts while presenting permanent exhibits, rotating exhibits, educational programs, children's activities, and community events.
