About Sherman Community Players
Sherman Community Players (SCP) is a nonprofit community theatre serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Founded in 1950 with theatrical roots dating back to the 1920s, SCP has provided quality live theatrical entertainment and performing arts education for more than 76 seasons. The organization produces musicals, comedies, dramas, melodramas, dinner theatre, youth theatre productions, educational programs, auditions, workshops, and special performing arts events throughout the year.
