About Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge
Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge is an 11,320-acre U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service refuge on the Big Mineral Arm of Lake Texoma near Sherman. Visitors can explore the refuge free of charge from dawn to dusk for birding, hiking, Wildlife Drive auto touring, fishing, photography, picnicking and seasonal boating, with a visitor center, butterfly garden and regular nature programs supported by Friends of Hagerman NWR.

Monday-Saturday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM; Sunday 1:00-5:00 PM. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
