About Forest Avenue Baptist Church
Forest Avenue Baptist Church is a welcoming South Sherman congregation centered on worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, fellowship and community service. Guided by its mission to love God, love people and make disciples, the church offers Sunday School for all ages, Sunday morning worship, Wednesday programs for children, students and adults, nursery care, choir-led worship and weekly discipleship opportunities. The congregation also supports local and global missions and encourages visitors from Baptist, other faith or no-faith backgrounds to come as they are and explore a community where they can belong, grow and serve.
